Back to Work, Thanks to Michigan Works!

Laura came to Michigan Works! hoping for some help. She had a job, but unexpected car problems were putting a severe burden on her ability to get to work. Her car was deemed un-driveable due to the condition it was in.

Thanks to the BRES program (Barrier Removal Employment Success), Michigan Works! Career Navigator Amanda was able to help Laura get the car repairs she needed. Repairs included a new water pump, serpentine belt, and an oil filter gasket.

Thanks to the assistance Michigan Works! was able to provide, Laura is now able to once again drive back and forth to her job without worry.
