Delmeco works as a general labororer at Bulmann Dock & Lift. He was finding his commute becoming harder, and more dangerous, due to the condition of his tires. He came to Michigan Works! to see if they could help with his transportation concerns.
With the help of the BRES program funding (Barrier Removal Employment Success), Michigan Works! Career Navigator, Hannah, was able to help Delmeco get new tires for his vehicle.
Delmeco says he’s now learned that he should start saving for transportation costs such as these, before they become a dire need. He’s thankful for the assistance that Michigan Works! was able to provide and is happy he is now able to get back and forth to work safely.
