Michigan Works! Helps Chase Chase His Dream

Chase was always interested in trucking, having watched his grandfather for many years on the road. However, he could not afford the cost of the training program to obtain his CDL A, so he came to Michigan Works! seeking training assistance.

Michigan Works! was able to pay for Chase’s training costs at Tri Area Trucking School. At first, Chase had difficulty learning to drive manual, but he worked hard to overcome and is now able to drive any large truck he could encounter on the job. Chase scored well on his testing and received a job offer from Great North Provisions.

Chase said, "I am so thankful to Michigan Works! for providing so much support and advice during my training with Tri Area Trucking. I would also like to thank my instructors at Tri Area for helping me to overcome my challenges and achieve my goals."
