Required Michigan Works! Class Offers Info on Variety of Employment Programs

When filing for his Unemployment benefits, Raymond was selected by UIA to participate in the Michigan Works! RESEA class. Attendance was required to receive benefits, so Raymond went to the class at the Grayling Michigan Works! office. Not knowing what to expect, he was a bit nervous.

Michigan Works! Career Navigator Christina put Raymond at ease, explaining the class simply offers information that may help him find employment. During the class, Christina presented all the Michigan Works! programs and services that are offered free to job seekers and answered any questions that attendees had.

Raymond expressed his gratitude for the information and was excited to learn about all of the Michigan Works! programs available to help him succeed, if he decides to choose a different career path. He currently is seasonally laid off and expects to go back to his regular job in the spring.

“This class was a great opportunity to learn how to find a job and how much help Michigan Works! could do for you. Thank you,” says Raymond.
